God's Glory Over Our Greatness

God's glory, not human effort, is what truly makes things great. The Israelites learned this vital lesson while rebuilding the temple after exile. Though the new temple appeared less impressive than Solomon's original, God promised His presence would make it more glorious. He assured them of His presence, His Spirit's power, and His peace. These promises remind us to focus on God's presence rather than outward appearances, and to trust that His glory transforms everything it touches.
