Faithful Until the End
Dec 21, 2025 • Daniel Good
Joseph's final days in Genesis 50 reveal what it means to live faithfully until the end. Through daily obedience, Joseph transformed Egypt and demonstrated true forgiveness when his brothers feared revenge after their father's death. His response showed five key elements: reassurance, leaving judgment to God, acknowledging wrongdoing, recognizing God's sovereignty, and promising provision. Joseph's famous words that his brothers planned evil but God planned it for good foreshadow the gospel message. As he approached death at 110, Joseph focused not on his accomplishments but on God's promises, making his family swear to carry his bones to Canaan when God led them out of Egypt.
