Raised from the Pit

In Jonah chapter 2, we discover God's mercy and grace even in our lowest moments. Jonah found himself in both a physical pit (the fish's belly) and a spiritual one (separation from God due to disobedience). Yet even from these depths, God heard Jonah's prayer and rescued him. This powerful story reminds us that no matter how far we've fallen or how deep our pit, God's grace reaches deeper. Through Jesus Christ, God lifts us from our pits—whether they're caused by sin, circumstances, or suffering. The profound truth remains: salvation belongs to the Lord alone.
